First I would like to say “Please excuse my English writing skills, the English grammar on my blogs”. I know that incorrect grammar can annoy the person reading and stop them from continuing reading my stories.
Not many people know what has been happening in my life, about my children’s disabilities and my health in 2017. What I needed to practice daily to stay positive and keep moving towards my dreams and how I get
to where I am now. By telling my story, my struggles, and how I have learnt ways to overcome my situation, I feel I could help other people.
I want my blogs and YouTube channel to inspire other people to overcome their fears, their current difficult situations, and learn new ways to practice living a happier lifestyle. Hearing my story could give the person hope, and different techniques they can try to help them to move forward and open to think positive so they can
change their life around.
About My Career
My name is Vivianne Tran, I am an international awards winning hair and makeup artist working in the fashion and commercial industry over 10 years. I am currently based in Melbourne, Australia. I have worked with well known brands overseas and in Australia such as Lenovo, Tiktok, Canon Asia, Lorna Jane, Rebel Sport and more under my BIO section in my website. During 2018 and 2019 I have worked on a Chinese Feature Film called Li Na through a Melbourne production called Scouts Production, and Hong Kong TV series for hair and makeup.
For the past year, I also worked as a hand model for an advertising company and I am an extra for commercial, TV and feature films through an agency in Melbourne.
Before I work in the beauty and fashion industry, I was working as a legal support officer at the Justice Department in Queensland. I have completed a Diploma of Justice and a Bachelor of Justice major in investigation through
the Queensland University of Technology. Since at an early age I always felt and knew I wanted to work with people, so I thought if I worked in the justice department or become an investigator or police officer I would be able to help the victims and their families. However, during the time I was working there, I realised this wasn’t the industry I felt happy working in for long term. Going to court, hearing sad stories everyday, watching the victims going through the pain, all this I feel has affected my health.
I noticed I was starting to get paranoid when I’d go out, and always worry about everything around me. I felt in my work I was helping people but I was still sad after each case.
I did part-time study in certificate II in makeup through The Academy of Makeup in Queensland while I was working at the Justice department.
I started my freelance business in wedding and special occasion on weekends. I felt so happy every-time I saw someone happy. I knew this is what I wanted to do everyday so I resigned from my work in
government and went back to study full time the Diploma of Makeup, this has opened for me different areas of makeup in the creative industry. During my time living and working In Brisbane, I had an opportunity to join and work with a creative agency “Arc Creative”. Here I got to work with many other artists, stylists, photographers and opened me to a lot of opportunities in the industries.
About my personal life:
I have been with my husband over 12years. We moved to Melbourne about 5 years ago. When I moved to Melbourne, I found out that my son was diagnosed with Autism, ADHD and Anxiety. A few years later my younger daughter was also diagnosed with ASD and Anxiety. You can follow them on Instagram @Autism_ADHD _children.
At the time of diagnosis I didn’t know any friend who had children with ASD or ADHD. The process for my son took very long and I nearly gave up. I was very worried, I felt alone, I felt confused, there were so many things going through my mind. I worried about his future. Looking back now, I am glad I did my research to understand more about autism and ADHD, I went out of my way to help my son but at
the same time still continued with my career and was still travelling for work.
I noticed through the kids journey that there are still people who don’t understand much about Autism or ADHD and even in some countries there isn’t any funding for the child to go to therapy regularly. I want to share some of the things we use with the kids and hope it help other people.
This next part is very hard for me to post publicly but I have decided to share.
I was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD in my 30s. I feel that as an adult I would be able to share my story and what I found help full after my diagnosis. What I struggles in my daily life and technique I use to overcome my struggles.
During my children’s journey I have come across people who have motivated me, and they themselves have a disability and had to learn to overcome their disability and now are some of the world’s top memories leaders. The achievements they have in their life gives me hope and motivates me to learn more to help myself and my children.
In December 2017 a few days before New Years Eve, after I came back from a big project in Japan, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I decided to go ahead surgery in February 2018.
I took 8 months of everything, work, social media and concentrated on myself, kept doing research and things daily to heal my self. Cancer is something we all hear about, hear it happens to people we know or
around us but never thought it would happen to us. I will share what I have learnt in my cancer journey post.
I am a big believer that we are all energy, and if we can help to raise other people energy there will be a lot more happy and kind people in this world. There are so many beautiful people out there and once you change your vibration, and have good energy you will attract and meet those types of people.
Another thing I want to share with you guys, I have been practicing healing energy. I have studied different level of Reiki healing and have completed my master in Reiki with Toni Martin. I studied Reiki for my own personal development. I have found that I have been helping family and friends, sometime at work when the people ask I have helped them with Reiki.
I have come across study of scientist who work with the human brain and have proven study about how we think, what we think can make us sick or can heal us. I will talk more about the topic mediation and anxiety and what I found helpful for me and my children.
IF I CAN DO IT, YOU CAN DO IT !
At the end of our life, when we look back most people just want to be happy, want to be loved and want to live a happy life. We can have a happy life, and only you, yourself can create that for yourself.
We must learn techniques and ways to overcome the self-negative talk in our mind and be able to be discipline, consistent, and take action.
Hope you enjoy my post, and thank you for reading.
